ESET Campus continues permitting process, receives approval from city

Bratislava, 3.6.2025

The investment plan for the new headquarters and technology campus of ESET in Bratislava's Patrónka continues in the permitting process. The project recently received a binding statement from the capital city on the zoning plan and is continuing in other permitting processes, including an environmental impact assessment (EIA).

The future campus will consist of 12 buildings of varying heights, with the tallest having six floors above ground. Four central buildings will serve as ESET's headquarters, with office space and public services on the ground floor. Around them, eight additional buildings will be located, which are intended to serve as office expansion for technology companies and startups, as well as spaces for cultural and conference events, technological research, non-profit organizations, and leisure activities.

The heart of the campus will be a central plaza surrounded by the main buildings, which is intended to become a meeting place for the community. An important part of the design are interconnected public spaces that will create a pleasant environment for movement and relaxation.

In preparation for the future implementation of the project, all demolition work on the site has been completed. It was carried out in accordance with the timetable and resulted in almost 40 thousand tons of waste, with a recovery rate of up to 98.5%. When recovering waste, emphasis was also placed on the maximum recycling rate and the reuse of recyclate in the future construction of the campus.

The campus will positively impact the entire locality

In addition to the new headquarters and global research center, the ESET Campus will create a high-quality and stimulating environment for IT and technology companies and startups, connecting them with technically oriented universities. In addition, the campus will provide a wide range of other useful services and facilities, high-quality public spaces and short-term accommodation options intended primarily for company employees. An important part of the campus will also be sports infrastructure, many of which will be open to the general public.

The ESET Campus area should also provide optimal conditions for pedestrians and preferential use of public transport and bicycles. The project authors are also intensively working on the use of train transport in the area.
